A useful system should make daily work easier. We start by understanding the people, the processes and the problem, then build the software and infrastructure to fit.
Boosted Technologies began operations in 2017 and was incorporated in Uganda on 10 February 2021. From our base in Kampala, we work with businesses, startups, schools, nonprofits and institutions in Uganda and beyond. Our work can start with an idea, a manual process that needs improving, or an existing system that needs further development.

What we build
Custom software and business systems
Business platforms, ERP systems, dashboards, customer portals and internal tools designed around your organisation's workflows. We connect applications through APIs and plan for reporting, permissions and future changes.
Websites and web applications
Company websites, online services and web applications that work well on the devices people use. We consider content, speed, accessibility and maintenance alongside the design.
iOS and Android applications
We develop mobile applications and the APIs, web platforms and infrastructure behind them. We also prepare store listings, manage submissions and support updates on the Apple App Store and Google Play.
When we build your app, our app distribution service is included at no extra charge. Apple and Google developer account fees remain separate, and each store makes its own approval decisions.

School management systems and ERP
We develop dedicated school systems around academic, administrative and financial workflows. Depending on the project, a system can bring together admissions, student records, fees, attendance, examinations, report cards, staff, payroll, timetables and parent communication.
School groups can also have campus-level permissions and central reporting. We agree the modules and integrations with the institution before development begins.

Our own products give us room to work on problems that matter beyond an individual client project.
- Safara Diaspora: personal safety, emergency preparedness and trusted support, including for people travelling, living or working away from home.
- uCitizen: civic participation and information about places and communities.
- InternWorld: internships, career exposure and connections between young people and the world of work.
We also make free online tools for everyday tasks: invoices, quotations, receipts, image compression, QR codes, domain checks and PDF editing. Anyone can use them in a browser without creating an account.
How a project moves forward

- Design and build. We develop the interfaces, applications, databases and integrations the project needs.
- Test and secure. We check agreed workflows, permissions, usability and reliability before release.
- Deploy and support. We help put the system into use and agree any training, maintenance or continued development.
